Pasifika festival
The Melbourne Pasifika Festival is an annual celebration of Pasifika culture and the Pacific Island communities living in Australia. The Festival and Charity Walk is organised by WFWP Australia, in partnership with Pacific Community organisations and leaders.
The Melbourne Pasifika Festival gives the people of Melbourne a day to enjoy Pasifika culture through traditional food stalls, arts and crafts, children's activities, traditional and modern dance performances, live music and more!

Arrive at 10:30am for the Charity Walk along the Maribyrnong River. Footscray Park is a worthy tourist attraction with many beautiful, natural features.
Short walk: 1km and the duration is 30 minutes
Longer walk: a 5km circuit along Maribyrnong River for 1 hour
Best still, 100% of the money raised goes to fund Humanitarian Projects in the Pacific Islands, which educate and empower local women.
The Festival and Charity Walk is organised by the Women's Federation for World Peace Australia. WFWP Australia provides opportunities for women and their families living within the Island Nations of the Pacific through their Humanitarian Projects.
