Pasifika festival
The Melbourne Pasifika Festival is an annual celebration of Pasifika culture and the Pacific Island community in Australia organised by WFWP Oceania.

The Melbourne Pasifika Festival gives the people of Melbourne a day to enjoy Pasifika culture through traditional food stalls, arts and crafts, children's activities, traditional dancers, live music and more!

charity walk
Come earlier in the day as there is a charity walk around Footscray Park and surrounds. Footscray Park is a worthy tourist attraction with many beautiful, natural features.

The short walk is 1km and the duration is 30 minutes and the long walk is a 5km circuit around the park and takes 1hr.
​
Best still, 100% of the money raised goes to humanitarian projects in the Pacific Islands, which educate and empower women. The event is organised by the Women's Federation for World Peace Australia which is committed to providing women with the knowledge, tools and support needed to create lasting peace at home, in our communities and our nations.
